Travelling Route | Route by Train around (Western) Europe

The 6-weeks travel in Europe provided an opportunity in wandering round by train, rather than airplane. As Europe was more developed and connected since the industrial revolution, trains and train stations are the nodes to connect the countries together, which is still in use nowadays. In order to understand the impact and the relationship among the trains, train stations and cities in Europe, travelling by train would be a hands-on experience in observing and analyzing the topic. By recording my impression of the train stations through sketches, photos and interviews, I have started to gain a certain understanding in the intimidate relationship between train stations, the cities and the citizens.
