Rotterdam, as a second major city in Netherlands, is a newly-developed city which provided new technology and financial development in Netherlands. The Rotterdam Central Station is located at the CBD, and it is acting as the city node to this context. The city edge and districts are all composed around the city node, which can be read as the city expansion was developed from the station. From the diagram in larger scale, the city grid could clearly be seen, which is all connected well from the train station.
