Although Venice is a city which is filled with tourists (outsiders), the city was once a kingdom of merchandising; therefore the infrastructure is well planned in order to maximize the efficiency in deporting and importing the goods. As of the change of economic status of Venice, the planning of the city was re-justified through the consideration of locating the train station, which is main arrival of the tourist. The city was built long before the station was introduced, therefore, the choice of the station is important to separate the flow of the locals and the tourists. Having the first river as a city edge, the flow of the tourists is been diverted to the public transport without interfering the districts on the south, which are the residence of the locals.
