Venice St. Lucia Train Station | Human Scale

The sections enhance my analysis in the building scale; the direct circulation with a plaza in front suggested that the station only act as a transportation hub rather than a depiction of the image of the city. From the perspective of the Venetian, the image of the city is more on the unique formation of the community in integrating the water and the city. The narrow and covered platform space encourages the passengers to "evacuate" out of the station; the cantilevered canopy with gentle stairs in front of the plaza and the river is suggesting to tourists to stay there and enjoy the view, which is the first image of the city.
